Meeting Notes
- 09:00 start
- method papers/tools: Christoph Christoph showed the methods Gabriel used in his paper and compared them to his own.
- Insights from other people:
- Andrei: talked with Maiia about how to reliably compare (not possible with manual clicking)
- ChrisK: looked into optimizations to speed up e2e (Markus: first more e2e tests should be written, so that we optimize the right thing)
- Johannes:
- Maiia: It would be better if measurements would happen in an automated way and not have to be done by hand.
- Markus: Other students have done this in the past (playwright, SSE via Jannis script:
benchmarks/sse_benchmark/make_request.py
). - Moritz wants to measure usability. He was looking into content/page overflow and issues not covered by end to end tests.
- Meeting Notes: Christoph
- Blog Article about PermaplanT
- Biology:
- first steps with Pavlo Pavlo reworked companions/antagonist relationship files. He also reworked crop rotation and also added positive crop rotation relationships
- collaboration with Monika Egerer
- 0.6 release
- new scraper data
- access control
- cache busting (PWA fixes)
- bug fixes
- documentation and continuous improvements
- learn from MRs
- scraper data definitions in README in scraper data
- always also immediately improve documentation
- self-create follow ups
- Johannes not shown in reviewer list? Maybe we can fix it with approval rules combined with a group for "active developers". https://docs.gitlab.com/user/project/merge_requests/reviews/#find-reviewers-who-fulfill-approval-rules https://docs.gitlab.com/user/project/merge_requests/approvals/#configure-approval-rules https://docs.gitlab.com/user/project/merge_requests/approvals/rules/
- buddy talk
- fix your issues yourself until Thursday, fix:
- iteration
- clarification/questions
- avoids duplicates of issues during meetings
- old mockups, mobile strategy
- Moritz suggested combining the select-plants-button and the move-plants-button.
- Maiia mentioned that
- we should not hide functionality behind hover and
- it might be important to have too many clicks.
- break
- big call for MR cleanup continued:
- let us get all MRs merged
- review
- search for background/related work Make MR in submissions for a background paper or related work. Give a little bit of context how it is related to your work, it does not have to be perfect. There should at least be a markdown file with one link.
- Andrei will prepare a retrospective next meeting
- Johannes will show OpenTelemetry in two weeks
