Struct regex::Match

source ·
pub struct Match<'t> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Match represents a single match of a regex in a haystack.

The lifetime parameter 't refers to the lifetime of the matched text.

Implementations§

source§

impl<'t> Match<'t>

source

pub fn start(&self) -> usize

Returns the starting byte offset of the match in the haystack.

source

pub fn end(&self) -> usize

Returns the ending byte offset of the match in the haystack.

source

pub fn range(&self) -> Range<usize>

Returns the range over the starting and ending byte offsets of the match in the haystack.

source

pub fn as_str(&self) -> &'t str

Returns the matched text.

source§

impl<'t> PartialEq<Match<'t>> for Match<'t>

source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Match<'t>) -> bool

This method tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

This method tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
